Stronger winds from the south provided a greater challenge for the boats on the third race. With a rolling swell sweeping into the mouth of the estuary from the south the opportunity arose for an interesting beat form CH to Col. The race however passed off without incident, baring a protest between Kiasu Kid and Sagette, the latter being disqualified for failing to keep clear of the former.
