Championship Race 5 – 5 August 2011

Wind: F1
Course: F-CH-H-F-CH-H
Promising conditions in the morning and early afternoon fizzled out abruptly on the start line when the wind died. Kiasu Kid was first to Flea in a very slow race but dropped back thereafter. The results for Ettes, Wayfarers, Lasers and the championships were all in the balance but Sean Cochrane broke through after duelling with William Wallis in Tango on the South shore to triumph for the Wayfarers and the overall championship.
