Championship Race 4 – 4 August 2011

Wind: F3-5
Course: CH-F-Col-S Pin-CH-F-Col-CH-H
North westerly winds brought challenging conditions for the boats for race 4. The gusty conditions at the start caused 2 general recalls, the fleet getting away successfully only on the third attempt. It also enabled a challenging course to be set with an enjoyable reach from Flea to Colonel. Capsizes caused the retirement of Claret and Superoo. The final result was a fine win for Sean Cochrane in his Wayfarer.
